THE CAMBER ROAD

cam·ber

/ˈkambər/

noun

  1. the slightly convex or arched shape of a road or other horizontal surface. "the deck beams are curved for the camber of the deck"

  • BRITISH a tilt built into a road at a bend or curve, enabling vehicles to maintain speed.

The camber of this prophetic journey is intentional for many reasons, love being the primary. A more direct path would provide greater temptation to yield to the slave child’s mentality of works; i.e. quickly arriving at the destination for the sake of achievement. Unfortunately, most if honest with themselves, would admit they are met with the disillusion and dissatisfaction of the reaching the finish line. They feel unsatisfied and a feeling of “I was expecting something more” or “was that it”.

And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice in the Hebrew dialect (Jewish Aramaic) saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick [repeatedly] against the goads [offering pointless resistance].’ Acts 26:16 AMP

Beloved, don’t resist what God is allowing to resist you, slow down and encounter THEM; Father, Jesus & Holy Spirit along the journey. The finish line is not the end but only the awareness of a new start line.
